We have urgent Requirement for AIX/AS400 Team Lead for our prestigious client in Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

• Providing quality administrational and operational support for 140 AIX servers and10 i5/OS servers and their resident applications.
• Responsible for the planning, installation, re-image and configuration of AIX5L and I5/OS for the production, Development, DRC and Remote DRC data centers.
• Performs Hardware, software and network trouble shooting and follow through on necessary corrections working with unit heads and Application managers.
• Hardware management, change management and problem determination
• Design and documents technical procedures and work flow for team and operation.
• Install and assist in the maintenance of third party software like BMC,TWS and Veritas Netbackup,
• Creating and Managing file Systems, Volume groups, logical volumes.
• Creating, configuring and Administrating Dlpar, LPARS,VIO Servers
• Configure and Manage HMC and NIM Server
• O/S backup and recovery
• Exposure to network attached storage(NAS) , Storage area network(SAN) and (TSM) Tivoli Storage Manager
• Develop korn shell scripts for process automation and day to day system maintenance
• Problem determination and Performance Tuning
• Proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning of the system
• Experience in AIX o/s hardening and security
• Maintain high availability and manage cluster environment
• Experience in advanced POWER virtualization, LPAR, Micro-Partitioning, Virtual I/O server and HACMP.
• Deploy/Build NIM servers for Installation and upgrade of LPAR`s
• Create regular reports for Management requirements.
• Day to Day House Keeping tasks by using tools & scripts
• Recognizing and articulating job related problems to management
• Supporting the banking applications like Banktrade , Bazel ,Anti Money Laundering and Swift and Tadawul.
