Position: Word Processor

Basic Description of Position
Type, format, and edit complex business documents such as financial statements, presentations, proposals and other client deliverables according to brand standards. May also include some desktop publishing and graphics.

Position Responsibilities
Produce quality work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines as well as client expectations for quality and accuracy.

Know when to question data, and seek resolution before proceeding with production in order to eliminate wasted time and errors.

Maintain consistency of format and grammar in all projects, with great attention to detail.

Seek guidance from senior word processor and/or word processing supervisor to ensure adherence to brand standards.

Work closely with other word processors and proofreaders to share best practices.

Position Requirements
1-3 years experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience using desktop publishing and graphics software a plus.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in U.S. English.

Attention to detail, organization, and great follow-up skills essential.

Must work well in a team environment.

Able to follow directions, manage multiple tasks, and respond to urgent requests in a positive manner.

Must demonstrate commitment and be able to communicate professionally during stressful situations, maintaining composure and resolving problems effectively and positively.

May need to assist with prioritizing incoming jobs in order to meet deadlines.
