Lead Software Testing Engineer
5+ years of experience in IT industry.
1+ year of formal team lead experience.
General Roles and Responsibilities
·Attends and contributes to product and project meetings
·Attends Code and Design Reviews
·Edits and approves product release notes
·Manages multiple project schedules
·Mentors software testing engineers
·Participates in the Change Request process
·Assists with test plan and test script development
·Reviews selected Test Plans and Test Suites for validity and coverage
·Reviews and approves release notes
··Evaluate and implement automated testing tools
·Provide assistance as needed with project deployments
·Conduct post implementation project reviews
·Provide training as a result of new development, cross training, new hires, etc
·Provide access to educational information related to software testing
·Maintains a QC resource library
·Suggests tools & testing innovations to increase test coverage and reduce time.
·Tools he should know is Test Director, SQL
