Leading brand name with more than 60 sites worldwide is looking for the “GENERAL MANAGERS” accounting professionals with the qualities mentioned below

Job Requirement: candidate is required to have good hands on the list mentioned below and relevant experience

Preparationof Statutory Books of account & Liaise with External Auditors / tax advisers
- Prepare Audit files, review the same and ensure completeness & accuracy
- Prepare Financials in accordance with UK GAAP
- Prepare details P&L analysis to enable tax adviser to compute tax
- Act as the SPOC for the Statutory and Tax Auditors
- Finalize statutory accounts and make sure they are complete in all respects so that the same can be filed with Company Secretariat.

Monitor StatutoryCompliance:
- Maintain a Compliance database.
- Liaising with local management on compliance status.
- Producing monthly exception reports for review by Management.
- Issuing filing reminders to the management with responsibility for statutory filings.

Others:
- Handle Ad-hoc request.
- Working knowledge in UK GAAP and should be able to discuss issues with Statutory / Tax Auditors.
- Exhibit consistency and quality in preparation of statutory records.

Candidate Requirement:
CA with ACS / CIMA with excellent technical skills. Experience of statutory reporting essential with knowledge of existing statutory reporting requirements.
Good interpersonal skills and effective communicator.
Good problem-solving skills.
Experience of Group consolidation accounting and knowledge of corporate taxation would be an advantage.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of different departments and seniority levels.
