Job Description : Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is a Teradata-based repository of Teradata’s global business and engineering information using advanced business intelligence tools to present information to Teradata employees and external customers. EDW caters to reporting requirements of Teradata business unit at all levels.

The candidate selected for this position will work as part of a development & support team for over 40 EDW applications and developing new applications required by various Teradata business units.

Desired : B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA or an
equivalent education.
5+ years of total IT Work Exp
3+ years experience in BO XI Applications

Highly proficient in Business Objects XI.
Understanding of Datawarehousing concepts and
implementation, ideally with the Teradata solution.
Experience with databases (including data modeling, ELT
scripting) and database management (SQL and PL/SQL),
excellent SQL skills.
Experience with BO universe design.
Strong data modeling experience, including both logical
and physical data modeling.

Knowledge of Cognos
Knowledge of Microstrategy
Knowledge of Teradata SQL and Teradata Utilities will be
an added advantage.
Hands on experience on writing Unix Shell scripts
Tomcat administration

Knowledge of Software Development Life-Cycle, Software
CMM processes.
Excellent problem solving skills and optimization
techniques required.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
Experience in direct customer interaction.
