Job Attributes:
Senior level Hardware Engineer with strong experience in the design, development and engineering of hardware products
Manages projects with minimal supervision, drives cross-functional teams and leverages technical knowledge and project management experience
Responsible for providing technical consultation and leadership in the design and development efforts of complex engineering projects
Works on customer and vendor related issues
Works on manufacturing technical issues and providing support
Takes a leadership role in the technical content of the system specification/unit functional specification
Participates on a project team of engineers involved in the specification, design, development and test of hardware
Work closely with ASIC and Mechanical Engineering, Diagnostic, and Software teams throughout the development process, to define features and participate in problem resolution


Skill Attributes:
Experience in high speed digital circuit design is critical
Experience with DVT process is critical
Design experience with complex CPU's and ASIC's
Experience with FPGA simulation or design verification techniques are all plus
Mentors junior team members
Experience in correlating simulation results with lab measurements using oscilloscopes, TDRs and spectrum analyzers
Proficiency with spice (or equivalent) circuit simulation, field-solver and time/frequency domain analysis, familiarity with high speed design tools are plus

Education & Experience:
BSEE/MSEE with 8-15 years relevant experience in HW engineering and applications.
