Designation: National Sales Manager

Reporting To: Country Manager

Role Overview:

The jobholder will be primarily responsible to develop and manage sales team and drive the sales numbers. Job holder will be responsible for implementation of sales plan to achieve desired sales objectives for the assigned distribution channel. The jobholder will work closely with the Country Manager, Chief Marketing Officer, Sales Team and will be responsible for managing the assigned sales team. He/She will be responsible for ensuring achievement of the sales targets and driving training strategy

Candidate Profile:

Must have 12-15 years of experience in sales in a insurance company and 2-3 years of experience into heading large sales teams with exposure to product design ,marketing activities. Knowledge of insurance industry is mandatory. Ideally the candidate should have exposure to a national role

Vice President - Strategic Alliances, For a Growth Stage Company in travel domain

VP, Strategic Alliances

Reports to: CEO

Position Summary

The VP, Strategic Alliances will lead exploration and closure of complex corporate level business alliances and partnerships for Client. Will work with business groups and cross-functionally in multiple tasks that include the definition and execution of opportunity identification and evaluation, presenting opportunities with recommendation to senior management and ownership of the alliance process. The incumbent may need to work closely with the CEO as this is a key role within this particular facet of company’s growth strategy.

Essential Functions

Primary Responsibilities:
• Explore and Identify potential new strategic alliances and partnerships
• Define and execute opportunity identification and evaluation process
• Develop the goals and objectives for target partnerships consistent with Client’s corporate strategy
• Develop new business models for Client (Exclusive Resellers, OEM, JV, etc)
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships at the executive level with key Client partners
• Define and manage common governance model across alliances
• Negotiate complex business agreements from start to finish
• Identify potential technology collaboration opportunities, define joint solutions, develop business cases, and drive go-to-market strategy
• Orchestrate cross company resources to support the alliances’ initiatives on a global basis
• Work with Client legal team in drafting, reviewing and formalizing all commercial arrangements, agreements and contracts
• Work with executive management and across business groups in further developing Client partnership programs

Skills
Education and Experience:
• MS/MBA from a Tier 1 school in India or abroad
• Overall 5-10 years of related industry experience (IT / eCommerce)
• Strong relationship skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence decision makers
• Executive maturity and presence
• Matrix oriented
• Applies expert knowledge and understanding of all business development activities
• Prior International market development experience is preferred
