Openings with Nokia at Bangalore (JAVA JSR)

Hi All,

My name is Priyanka and I am a consultant with Sentient Consulting Private Limited, an executive search firm based out of Bangalore. We have been retained by Nokia to search for a SE/SSE as per the job description given below:

Technical Skills:
1. At least 3-4 years of Core Java programming experience. - Must be using Java as programming language in the projects for the past 2 years.
2. At least 2 years experience with OOAD and Design Patterns
3. At least 1 year of J2ME related experience.
4. JSR reference implementation (RI) and Technology compatibility kit (TCK) experience would be a huge plus.
5. Experience with usage of version control tools (Clearcase, CVS) are a plus
6. Programming experience in C/C++ would be a plus
7. Good exposure to software SDLC (initiation to release)

Functional and Soft skills:
1. If has functioned as technical lead/team lead it is an advantage
2. Good command over English language

Academic and Work background
1. Consistently above average academic record
2. Any specific achievement track record (Academic or Professional)
3. Good if has been working in reputed companies - otherwise a very good consistent academic and achievement
record is a must.
4. International exposure must.
