I represent an executive search firm. I have been mandated by one of our prestigious client which is world’s fourth largest IT services provider to hire a Sales Head for managing their India Operations.
Role : Sales Head, India
Location : Pune
The person would be responsible for all Sales activities in India across key dimensions of planning, service offerings. Will be responsible for creating a demand for our services in the ERP- SAP/Oracle space and sales enablement. Should have worked either in the government sector and / or should have sold solutions of SAP and Oracle. The candidate should have had focus in the ERP space and should have achieved a target of at least Rs. 40 crores per annum in the recent past. The incumbent would be required to provide references.
Key responsibilities:
• Planning & strategy development
• Handling large RFP/RFI’s.
• Should be in a position to empanel our organization in the major projects within India under different states and union government.
• Managing processes of large accounts from pre-sales, sales & post-sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunity for new business development in software services and solution selling for current offerings and develop competencies and skills required to be future ready.
• Achieve assigned targets from revenue & gross profit aspects and ensure long term value creation for the company.
• Formulation of the service Offerings and Solutions.
• Creating demand of Client’s consulting acumen within India
• Sales and Alliances enablement wherever required
• Should have achieved Targets of around $5-10 million.
• Team Handling, mentoring, guiding team to achieve the set targets would be extremely important.
Candidate Profile
- Engineer with an MBA.
- 12-16 years of experience in selling software products and services especially in the ERP- Space - SAP and Oracle, for reputed IT companies.
- Extensive exp in India market, exposure to Manufacturing, Retail, Public Sector / Govt Sector would be an advantage
Mission Critical Skills :
• Experience in selling ERP/OEM services in large corporate.
• Drive, motivate and manage the team to achieve sales targets through effective planning, leading, organizing and controlling of information and group.
• Develop competitive sales strategies for deeper market penetration.
• Should have operated in India as a geography for at least 5 years in sales and marketing.
• Should have managed revenues of around 10 million dollar or above.
