Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute the Six Sigma strategy and tools to improve process capability and eliminate problems/defects.
- Through completion of a training program on Six Sigma philosophy, theory, and application tools/tactics, deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability, producibility of designs and business processes to reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality.
- Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Six Sigma tools.
- Work with operating leaders and teams to uncover and assess Six Sigma opportunities.
- In conjunction with the Quality team, serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Six Sigma quality.
- Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices.
- Communicate teams' progress.
- Educate, coach, and mentor others on Six Sigma philosophy and application.
- Propose process technology improvements and capital expenditures.
- Identify potential process improvement projects.
