CAREER OPPORTUNITY : Software/QA Engineer II
Job Attributes:
Work on a team of Quality Assurance Engineers as part of the Voice Technology group that is responsible for being part of the complete QA cycle of various releases of Unified CCX product which is Cisco's IP contact center application for the low and mid range market.
Using existing knowledge in the data networking or telecommunications industry, and by analyzing new product requirements, write and execute test cases based on Cisco's IP Contact Center product. Analyze system problems detected and generate software problem reports.
Establish lab configuration and test tool requirements. Provide input to the requirement and design documentation review process. Experience with data networking , in addition to overall telecommunications and IP knowledge.
Skill Attributes:
Experience in test methodology, including test planning and coordination with development team.
Experience in writing test cases, setting up test beds, test execution, and defect investigation, reporting and verification
Knowledge of data networking concepts.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
Familiarity with a VoIP technology is a plus.
Familiarity with PBX like Call Manager, including basic concepts, configuration is a plus
Familiarity with call center application and IVR applications including basic concepts is a plus
Familiar with Virtualization
Automation experience using Silk Test, ATS, TCL is a plus
Experience & Education:
Typically requires B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/Electronics with 3-5 years experience.
