Job Title : Testing Lead/Project Lead
Experience : 6 - 8 Years
Education : B.Tech/B.E. , M.Sc - Computers;MCA
Job Description : Is responsible for managing testing at project team level and ensuring that Testing delivery meets requirements for the project. Is required to support Test Manager / Project Manager in developing Test strategy and Test Plan at
Program/Project level.
Desired : Should have lead teams in carrying out Testing activities - Test planning
(High level, Low level), Resource utilisation (Task allocation/ review and
tracking of plans), Infrastructure / Environment availability, Communication
and coordination with stakeholders (DEV team, BA, DBA, Business team, any
other team), Test completion and tracking of defects are tracked to closure.
Responsible for identifying any opportunity for specialized testing
(Automation, Performance) in his area of work and coordinate its execution.
Communication Skills
Experience: Relevant experience for the role
7+ years of experience in a Software organisation (Testing and/or
development) at least 4+ years in testing.
2+ years of experience of leading a testing team (Test planning,
coordination, task allocation/ review, reporting, communication with
business / project teams).
Good experience of manual / automated testing throughout the testing life
cycle (test plan creation, test case development/review, test execution,
defect logging/reporting including metrics, Requirements Traceability
Matrix, defect tracking and resolution).
Experience of using tools such as Test Director for test planning and
defect management and automated testing using tools (QTP, Load runner, Win
Runner, other tools) will be preferred
Other Significant Role Requirements: Any further key factors which have a
bearing on a candidate’s ability to perform
Ensure that organisation processes and tools are followed to achieve
consistency in process implementation.
