Designation : DS3 SES Engineer
Experience : 2 - 5 Years
Job Description : The DS3 SES Engineer will be the primary day-to-day DS3 Project related IT Test setup, Desktop & Server Support for internal APC DS3 end-users in the whole India region.
Responsible for day-to-day IT operations for computer, telecom, network equipment in DS3lab and DS3 Users.
Responsible for day-to-day secondary level end users operations support of IT services and application escalated by DS3 India Users.
Responsible to update all user IT requests, as either resolved or escalated within agreed time frames
Participating in /global projects and rollouts
Required to work beyond standard business hours at times
Willing to perform standby duties, wear and response to mobile phone calls
Willing to travel within and outside of India
Demonstrated understanding and related experience with the major computer operating systems (All Windows, Linux, Novell, HP-UX, IBM AIX, and Mac OSX), data and information management, office automation, collaboration, instant messaging, mobile technology, anti virus, wireless, telecom systems, console port servers, etc.
Track record in the role of timely delivering IT services to user community in DS3 India.
Desired : Knowledge of TCP/IP, Networking concepts, SNMP
Customer service oriented, good team player and ability to address local requirements while conforming to overall corporate standards
Ability to identify, prioritize and escalate problems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under minimum supervision
Systems support experience using leading application vendor software such as Lotus Domino platform
Broad knowledge of current developments in computer industry and able to apply these to business issues
Knowledge of Vendor management and IT asset tracking.
