I am a Executive Search Consultant from a pune based Consulting Company.
Currently we are having a requirement for project manager.
Project Manager – DSP
Experience: 9-15Yrs
Location: Pune
Job Responsibilities will include:
• Porting and optimization of reference algorithm on TI DSP platform
• Profiling and optimization of total system performance
• Handling a team of 15-20 ppl
• Project management, people management and deliveries and client relations.
• Understand resource requirements for the projects based on scope and
assist the Leaders in identifying and planning for those resources.
Required skill set:
o BS/MSEE or CE or equivalent degree with minimum 10 years of relevant
experience
o Very good C programming knowledge
o Basic understanding of Audio/Video codec
o Processor architecture knowledge of any DSP like TI
DSP,Renises,Tri-Media,Analog Devices,Cradel.
o Basic understanding of compiler tool chain
o Basic experience in using various algorithm optimization techniques.
o Basic understanding of Audio/Video codec
o Team management
o Demonstrated leadership, people management skills and a passion to
develop people. Ability to groom fresh engineers and plan internal
projects.
o Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
o Problem solving and conflict resolution.
o Demonstrated ability to operate in the global market with excellent
exposure to client interfacing in a global arena.
o Experience in handling offshore project deliveries
o BE/BS preferably with a management qualification at the Post Graduation level
• Preferred
o Experience on TI C6000 DSP family
o In depth knowledge of TI DSP architecture
o Hands on experience of TI Code Composer Studio (CCS) tool
o Preferable knowledge of Digital Signal Processing fundamentals
Knowledge of audio/video/codec fundamentals.
