The Firm IT's Global Infrastructure Support group is responsible for managing and supporting it's global IT infrastructure and applications. Closely collaborating across regional teams located in Düsseldorf, Gurgaon, New York, Prague and Sydney.
Following are the broad key groups in our IT Infrastructure setup:
Enterprise Systems and Platform Management (ESPM)
Database Management (DM)
Unix
Messaging & Intranet (M&I)
Windows Administration & Directory services (Wintel)
Network Services (NS)
Voice over IP (VoIP) and Video
1 generic function – Level-1 group that acts as the first level support for the IT setup.
POSITION/ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role would provide 24x7 technical support for it's Firm-wide applications and software platforms within the Enterprise Systems and Platform Management (ESPM).
Job responsibilities would include the following:-
Provide 2nd level operational & administrative support for COMPANY IT applications in Development / QA / Production environments
Troubleshoot application platform problems including problem analysis &^ resolution
Education background
•Bachelors or Masters degree
Previous Exp•Min of 2 years relevant work exp required
Experience in the following is essential:
•Hands-on administration or development exp on WebSphere Portal or WebSphere Application server version 5.x or above
