VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY (VMI) IMPROVES SUPPLY CHAIN FORECASTING ARTICLE/ CASE STUDY & MUMBAI FORECASTING WORKSHOP/ FORUM INFORMATION
Folks, I have an interesting article/ case study on how Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs improve Forecasting and the Supply Chain. It is written by an expert in Supply Chain Strategies from the company Arasco.
A Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program not only improves forecasts and supply chains, but it also creates visibility in the supply chain. And when the vendor collaborates with the customer and agrees to share the savings gained with them, it becomes a win-win for both parties. This article details benefits as well as how VMI improved company performance at Arasco.
SCRAP ME your email/ contact details and I’ll send it to you. Of course once received, please share your feedback and current company challenges.
