Job Description : looking for an experienced software engineer who has done substantial development of Informatica mappings and workflows to support development of the Qpass Dashboard and Warehousing Software
Design, develop and implement Informatica mappings and workflows.
Design, develop and implement database schemas and query systems.
Create conceptual and detailed designs for reporting and warehouse systems.
Create on-line reports and data extracts from complex database structures.
Design, develop and implement complex extract, transform and load systems.
Evaluate performance issues and provide designs to eliminate or mitigate data load Workflows.
Adhere to Software development and source control processes.
Proactively form opinions about the software and propose anything from simple fixes to major design refactors where appropriate
Desired : Extensive experience with data management tools, data analysis, modeling and performance tuning.
2+ years of Informatica development. Must be familiar 7.x mapping designer and workflow manager.
2+ solid years of general software development experience. Development of data warehouse and high volume transactional database technologies strongly preferred.
Experience with complex Oracle SQL required.
Oracle Database tuning experience is required
Experience with PowerAnalyzer
Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development
Experience creating, modifying, and leveraging Oracle objects
Experience with XML/XSL/XSD required.
Experience with Unix platforms required, esp. Linux.
Demonstrated capacity for learning quickly in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to translate general, high-level notions into concise designs.
Self-motivated in terms of verifying own code�s quality from functionality, operability, and performance perspectives.
Deliver work on time with multiple, competing priorities.
Efficient analysis and troubleshooting abilities.
