1Design and Develop highly technical courseware based on the required objectives which prepares Technical Support Engineers to answer incoming queries and provide optimal customer service:
Analyzing learning requirements of assigned lessons - Demonstrating how the software works 'under the hood' - Present methods to effectively gather and analyze data to perform in-depth troubleshooting
Organize abstract technical concepts into understandable flowcharts, diagrams, illustrations, etc.
• Partner with instructors to build high-quality curriculum
• Provide ongoing input into improving curriculum development processes ‘Create final content distribution packages
Position Requirements and Experience:
Ability to troubleshoot and document complex applications, procedures, and solutions
Ability to develop technical courseware or documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills - Team-oriented Desired Skills
Technical training experience a plus.
Working experience using Adobe Framemaker, Microsoft PowerPoint
Critical Success Factors:
The Senior Support Readiness Training Developer is responsible for designing and developing technical training solutions that meet required learning objectives. The developer must work with product engineers, Q&A and back-line support engineers to identify and document relevant technical information to create content aimed at educating Technical Support Engineers. Candidates must possess OS and network administration skills, coding/scripting experience in order to build highly effective training programs and aides. In addition, this position is critical in creating training programs used for all Symantec support partners.
