PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely and communicate as a team member with the Headquarters Human Resources team to align company Human Resources initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Partner with Country Manager and site management to proactively assess needs and identify and implement tactical and strategic solutions.
• Lead the annual performance and salary review process for client's India employees utilizing standard company processes and methodology.
• Manage the visa, travel and accommodation processes for India based employees as well as provide assistance to US based employees traveling to India.
• Manage the recruiting process to ensure accurate job descriptions, cost effective recruiting and appropriate placement, thorough candidate screening, and quality hiring.
• Assess candidate skills, knowledge, and qualifications by performing interviews by telephone and in person.
• Understand and fully comply with laws, regulations, and internal processes, policies and procedures
• Assist in the identification and conduct of employee relations activities.
• Conduct new hire orientation/induction, paperwork, and monthly new employee evaluations during initial 90 day period.
• Manager human resources-related vendor relationships.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
•Minimum of seven years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least two years of management experience, and at least one year of recruiting experience
•Must have successful experience working in the U.S. or reporting into a U.S.-based company
•Demonstrated ability to establish, develop and maintain productive business relationships at all levels of an organization
•Strong English skills, practical problem solving skills, and excellent knowledge of HR laws and regulations
•Strong recruiting and time management skills
•Experience utilizing an HRIS system is strongly preferred
