CAREER OPPORTUNITY : Software Engineer IV/III/II
Summary of the job:
Participate in a senior role in a team of engineers involved in development of L2/L3 switching/routing related software.
Candidate will be involved in IOS software development.
The projects could be related to L2 protocols, L2 forwarding, security, systems/platform, ACL, QoS, Unicast, Multicast etc.
Participate in architecture, design, development of full life cycle projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Architect, design and develop relevant software.
Come up with and follow the schedules. Interaction with marketing teams, other software development groups.
Handle customer issues. May be needed to help more than one projects while handling the main stream project.
Skill Requisites :
Networking development experience
Excellent C/C++ design, programming and debugging skills
Strong real-time/embedded systems development experience
Protocol-related development experience (ATM, MPLS, Frame Relay etc.)
Well-versed in UNIX development environment, version control and software development life cycle
Knowledge of operating systems architecture
Experience and Education:
Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 3 - 8 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 4 – 10+ yrs related experience.
