We are seeing a very good growth in the area of “Plant Engineering”, of late and are looking at an aggressive growth in this area.
Typically, we are looking for people with 3 to 12 years of experience in the Power industry/EPC or in any other related domain with experience in the areas given below :
Piping
* Creation of piping layouts
* Stress analysis of pipes
* Location of pipe supports and support selection and design
* Pipe routing
* Equipment arrangement planning and pipe rack design
Ducting
* Design of ducts and analysis of plates and joints for ducts. Exposure to design codes.
* Design of plate and ducting stiffeners for ducting assemblies
* Preparation of technical specification for expansion joints, dampers, actuators, etc
* Estimation of load data for the ducting supports.
* Design of plate and ducting stiffeners for ducting assemblies.
Structural Steel
* Design of steel Structures (steel columns and beams, connection design, weld design)
* Use of American and European codes for design
* Analysis of structural steel designs
* Preparation of technical specifications
* Interpretation and validation of analysis results
Software Skills Required : Staad PRO,PDMS/AutoCAD,X-Steel/PRO Steel/TEKLA,CAESAR, ROHR
