Job Description for AV Transcoding
Required Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, particularly written and oral/aural
• Excellent C (or C++) programming skills
• Ability to design, document, develop and debug complicated algorithms ensuring correctness of operation to specification
• Knowledge of embedded systems and/or real time systems
• Motivated and substantially self-directed (capable of working undirected for extended periods)
• Exposure to video coding specifications (MPEG4,H.263, H.264)
• Exposure to audio coding specifications (G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.729, GSM-AMR)
