Manager Six Sigma/Quality Black Belt
ROLE SPECIFICATION
The incumbent will be required to be a part of "Quality Team" for the Global
Operations Support Center and will be required to report to the Dir Quality
of the MetLife Global Operations Services Center. The role will clearly be
responsible to maintain quality of all service deliverables and the key
deliverables of the role will include but will not be restricted to the
details below:
* The incumbent will be accountable for Six Sigma projects carried out
at GOSC and would need to partner with designated business and support areas
within the Business Processes to identify and implement metrics and
improvement opportunities.
* The incumbent will be responsible to mentor projects and ensure a
review process for all ongoing projects in the business area he/she is
aligned with.
* The incumbent would be responsible to lead cross-functional project
teams (Finance, technology etc) and have close alignments with respective
functional businesses.
* The position would involve managing and leading awareness/ training
programs (GB trainings, Innovative Idea implementation, and basics of Six
Sigma etc)
* The incumbent will serve a critical role in the implementation of
various Quality & Control projects which include improvement of customer
satisfaction and standardization of the processes through re-engineering
/globalization initiatives.
* The incumbent is expected to play the role of a change agent to help
institutionalize Six Sigma, Quality & Control across the Organization,
constantly seeking, sharing & implementing best practices.
* The incumbent may be required to travel, if the role requires, and
is not a requirement currently.
SEARCH SPECIFICATIONS
* Professional from the Quality / Process Enhancement function with at
least 6-7 years working experience of which at least 3-4 years work
experience in a BPO operations environment essentially linked to managing
six sigma projects only.
Flexible working in 2pm-12pm time frame
Competencies / Skill requirements
* The Applicant should be a Graduate with min. 6-7 years of experience
* Should be a well tenured (3+ years) Asst Manager, or Manager with at
least 18 months in the current role tenuring.
* Must be a trained Six Sigma Black Belt resource.
* Must have strong project management / change management and conflict
resolution skills.
* Must have good communication, interpersonal and project Management
skills and be able to interact with senior leadership / business partners /
customers, both locally and globally.
* Should have leadership skills like: strong relationship,
collaborating, facilitation, and influencing skills.
* Must possess strong results leadership skills and a candid flair for
being a people's person.
* Must possess problem solving, planning and analytical skills to
facilitate and focus on continuous improvement and innovation
* Black belt certification would certainly be preferred criteria.
