Product Testing : Automation Testing
Job Responsibility:
This position involves three primary responsibilities: product testing, software process improvement activities and project leadership. Product testing includes test planning, automated test case development using Visual Basic and the Tool Command Language (TCL) and other languages and tools, execution of the tests and technical analysis of the results. At least 2 years of hands-on automated testing experience is a requirement for this position. The product under test will be a Windows-based software package that interacts with our test and measurement products (oscilloscopes, signal sources, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
Job Requirement:
B.S. or M.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. This position requires at least 3-10 years of work experience in software quality assurance, software process improvement and/or software development (candidates with less experience will be considered for other positions). 2 years of hands-on automated testing experience using computer programming languages or scripts is also required; this implies a good understanding of algorithms and data structures (the ability to to write code).
The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good organization skills and be able to define, plan and implement general approaches
Desired:
Application experience with test, measurement and monitoring equipment, various communication standards like USB, Ethernet, PCI-Express, etc., and experience with real-time embedded products is a plus.
