Job Title : Senior Engineer - CADDS5 Development
Experience : 5 - 8 Years
Education : B.Tech/B.E. , M.Tech
Job Description : CADDS 5 is very high-end CAD software, which is very strategic to PTC’s ship building customers.
Designs, writes & implements software programming applications
Participates in maintenance and troubleshooting activities, testing process and test reviews
To perform the functions of the job as per instruction and pre-established guidelines
To follow disciplined software development practices; good understanding of SDLC;
Write requirement specifications for new projects as required
Interact with product management as and when required
Desired : Should have between 5-8 years of experience
1) ASM Drawing & General Arrangement drawing requirements
Designs, writes & implements software programming applications
Participates in maintenance and troubleshooting activities, testing process and test reviews
To perform the functions of the job as per instruction and pre-established guidelines
To follow disciplined software development practices.
Excellent Analytical & Problem Solving skills and elementary math & geometry understanding with good background on structural / piping software development
Strong programming skills (C, C++)
Knowledge of CAD software (CADDS5, Tribon, Foran, Pro/e, CATIA, etc.) is highly desirable
Good Communication Skills
Experience in working on a large complex software (>1/2 million lines of C/C++ code) is desirable
2) Windows Specialist requirements:
Designs, writes & implements software programming applications
Participates in maintenance and troubleshooting activities, testing process and test reviews
To perform the functions of the job as per instruction and pre-established guidelines
To follow disciplined software development practices.
Excellent Analytical & Problem Solving skills with good background on Windows programming.
Strong programming skills (C, C++)
Experience in working on large complex software (> ½ million lines of C/C++ code) is desirable.
Knowledge of NutCracker, eXceed would be desirable.
Knowledge of CAD / CAE software will be an added advantage
