Job description
Responsible for delivering of technical solutions in the form of proactive or corrective System Maintenance based on incoming CSR’s and project participation.
Ensure collection of complete information regarding system software and/or hardware problems and escalation of the problem to the second level of support.
Monitor customer’s systems for quality of performance with customer satisfaction as the ultimate goal. Contribute to good system performance.
Competence
University degree in Telecom, Electronics or in Electrical eng.
Experience related to the relevant Service product
Strong knowledge and experience in IP networking, implementation and trouble shooting routing protocols.
Possession of any of the IP certification like CCNA, CCNP, JCNA, etc is essential
Extend knowledge of Ethernet Switches, Routers, DNS, DHCP etc.
Knowledge of IP tools such as ethereal, snoop, ftp server etc.
Design knowledge of IP networks is of added advantage.
Able to work in UNIX/Solaris platforms.
Solaris / Linux certifications could be of added advantage.
Pay attention to details, be able to track many on-going activities and customer request. Ability to perform multi-task effectively.
Good team working skills.
Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
